Gerry Brownlee's rejecting claims he bullied a junior solicitor over the phone

The incident is alleged to have happened when the former Earthquake Minister
called an Auckland law firm which is planning a class action against
manufacturers of non-compliant steel mesh.

The firm says Brownlee was forceful with the lawyer, making bully-like
complaints.

But he told Mike Hosking he didn't think it was a heated conversation, and is
sorry if the questions he asked were stressful

Brownlee's putting it back on the law firm.

He wonders why that person was on the end of a phone number that invited
people like him, to call.
