    Recall for Utting

Michael Utting back in All Whites squad for matches against Iran along with four former U17 internationals from 1999

    11 February 2003
Nine Football Kingz players have been included in All White coach Mick Waite's team for the upcoming matches against Iran in late March early April.

Waite has named an extended 32 man squad with goalkeeper Michael Utting recalled.

Utting was axed from the squad after revealing he was suffering from alcohol problems.

Four players in the squad, James Pritchett, Sanjay Singh, David Mulligan and Brent Fisher, were part of the 1999 Under 17 World Championship squad.

The full 32 man squad is: Jason Batty, James Bannatyne, Michael Utting, Glen Moss, Chris Zoricich, Scott Smith, Danny Hay, David Mulligan, Ivan Vicelich, Ryan Nelsen, Lee Jones, Duncan Oughton, Gavin Wilkinson, Gerard Davis, Jonathan Perry, Sanjay Singh, Noah Hickey, Simon Elliott, Mark Burton, Aaran Lines, Raf de Gregorio, Chris Jackson, Glen Collins, Jeff Campbell, Harry Ngata, Chris Killen, Brent Fisher, Vaughan Coveny, Shane Smeltz, Kris Bouckenooghe, Mike Wilson and James Pritchett.

The squad will be reduced to 20 for the matches against Iran.

The matches pit the champions of Oceania against the Asian champions home and away.

The New Zealand leg will be played at North Harbour Stadium on March 28.
