NZ loss at badminton

Loss for kiwi Rebecca Gordon at NZ Badminton International in Auck- went down to top seeded Aussie Lenny Permana

A win has gone begging for kiwi Rebecca Gordon at the New Zealand Badminton International in Auckland.

Gordon couldn't keep up her winning momentum and went down to top seeded Australian Lenny Permana in straight games in the women's singles final.

The men's singles title was won by second seed Shoji Sato of Japan.

The men's doubles and mixed doubles were won by Australian combinations.
