North Harbour's NPC semifinal hopes docked
North Harbour out of NPC semifinal race after NZRU Appeal Council docks them four points over Chad Alcock eligibility saga.

North Harbour's NPC semifinal hopes have vanished.
Harbour has been docked four NPC competition points over the eligibility saga surrounding South African halfback Chad Alcock.
The decision has been made on Friday by an NZRU Appeal Council.
The Wellington Union appealed the initial $7500 fine handed to Harbour for playing Alcock without international clearance.
Alcock played a crucial part in Harbour's 15-3 win over Wellington in the Capital in round four on September 5.
That fine has now been overturned, replaced with the deduction of four competition points.
Wellington will not be credited with the points, but the ruling means Harbour drops from 20 competition points to 16.
That puts them out of the semifinal race, even with a win over Waikato in their final round robin game in Auckland on Friday night.
