    Warriors standoff Luke Metcalf is pleased to be playing in the halves with a number 7 in career-best form

    Since his NRL debut in Round 13, Metcalf has forged a strong combination with Dally M contender, Shaun Johnson.

    The pair were together at Cronulla for two years, but never took the field as a halves pairing.

    Metcalf's pleased they're now complementing each other... given Johnson's transition to an on-field general and playmaker.



    The Warriors face the Manly Sea Eagles in Auckland from 8 o'clock tonight.
