    18 January 2009
It was a busy night for police in Hastings and Havelock North. They made 37 arrests in the 12 hours from 6 o'clock last night.

Sergeant Matt King says most were for fighting and drunk and, disorderly behaviour. He says people were arrested outside bars in Havelock North, and at the Hawke's Bay Showgrounds where the Blues, Brews and BBQ was being held.
