Gisborne to the Tararua District Scattered rain or showers, especially naer the ranges. Northwest gales about the Tararua District, easing overnight. Wellington, Wairarapa, Nelson and Marlborough Fine spells, but with a few afternoon showers, mainly about the ranges. Canterbury Cloudy, with patchy light rain.
