    Mt Taranaki
    High on the upper slopes of Mt Taranaki's nearly perfect cone lies the Manganui Ski Area. Operated by the Stratford Mountain Club, it offers a thrilling experience for skiers and snowboarders with some of the steepest terrain in the country.

    Mt Ruapehu
    Mt Ruapehu towers up to a height of 2797 metres and hosts three ski areas on its slopes. Whakapapa and Turoa are both large commercial ski areas offering all of the usual services, while local club members operate Tukino as a club field.

    St Arnaud
    Set amidst Nelson Lakes National Park is the Rainbow ski field. Rainbow is a commercial operation with full facilities and well groomed trails. NOTE: Mt Robert has moved its base of operation to Rainbow Ski Area and no longer operates ski lifts at Mt Robert.

    Mackenzie
