Hamilton's Mayor says there's a lot of pain and heartbreak in the community, following a deadly weekend crash

Hamilton's Mayor says there's a lot of pain and heartbreak in the community, following a deadly weekend crash

Two people were killed and another two critically injured when a speeding car struck the side of a delivery truck pulling in to Pak'n'Save on Ulster Street, early yesterday.

The car burst into flames -- with Police pulling two from the burning vehicle, while four others suffered minor to moderate injuries.

The truck driver escaped without any serious injuries.

Mayor, Paula Southgate, says the first responders are true heroes.

She says emergency service staff put their lives at risk for us daily, and now is a good time to remember and be grateful for that.
