Police are investigating an incident which saw a construction vehicle roll over a man Wednesday night in Auckland

Police are investigating an incident which saw a construction vehicle roll over a man Wednesday night in Auckland

Police say the incident in Remuera saw the vehicle drive away after hitting the man.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition before dying yesterday afternoon.

Police are investigating the suspected hit-and-run, saying they've since tracked down the vehicle and driver in the Papatoetoe area.

Worksafe's been notified and will be carrying out its own enquiries.
