Restaurants say the commission charged for food delivery can make it impossible to turn a profit

A new report from Uber claims it's added 1.2 billion dollars in economic value for New Zealand in the last year.
But Restaurant Association General Manager Nicola Waldren says Uber has commission rates of about 35 per cent ... which is crippling for businesses with profit margins of just three to five per cent.
She says over the past year businesses have also seen significant cost increases, putting even more pressure on that fine profit margin.
