Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shuts down royal business venture Pitch@Palace

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has applied to close down some of his last remaining business interests, weeks after he was stripped of his titles and honours.

    12 November 2025

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has applied to shut down some of his last remaining business interests, weeks after he was stripped of his titles and honours due to his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A document was filed with Companies House in the UK on November 11 to dissolve the firm Pitch@Palace Global Limited. It is signed by the company's only director, Arthur Lancaster.

The Pitch@Palace competition aimed to match young entrepreneurs with influential business leaders and held its first event in 2014.

This latest move follows the announcement in October that King Charles was to strip the former prince of his royal titles and remove him from the Royal Lodge at Windsor.

Mr Mountbatten Windsor has been under renewed pressure in recent weeks over his friendship with Epstein and fresh attention on sexual abuse allegations by one of Epstein's victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, whose posthumous memoir was published last month.

Mr Mountbatten Windsor has long denied her claims but stepped down from royal duties after a disastrous November 2019 BBC interview in which he attempted to rebut her allegations.

Last week, he was summoned to appear before a US congressional panel investigating Epstein.

"Well-documented allegations against you, along with your long-standing friendship with Mr Epstein, indicate that you may possess knowledge of his activities relevant to our investigation," the letter said.

The letter asks for a response by November 20, but does not require the former prince's cooperation.

    He has always denied wrongdoing.
