Optimists are outnumbering pessimists in Canterbury

The latest ASB Investor Confidence Report show that, although the rest of the country dipped in the three months to June, Canterbury's remained steady at plus-19 percent.
ASB's Chris Tennent- Brown says people still have confidence in housing and are expecting reasonable returns.
He says it's good to see Cantabrians upbeat about things and to see the housing market in reasonable balance.
Chris Tennent-Brown says it's been a great year for shares - and it's disappointing that hasn't boosted interest in those products.
