    SkyCity Entertainment Group has recorded a 97-million dollar half year profit - up 11.4 per cent on the previous six months

    Chief executive Graeme Stephens says the strong period was led by Auckland.

    He says their Hamilton and Adelaide sites were also strong performers.

    Stephens says casinos always lead the group, but some of their other aspects of the business were very strong contributors - namely, food and beverage in Auckland.
