Air New Zealand's announced that by July and August, it'll be back to operating at 55 percent of its domestic capacity from before the virus hit.
The Timaru to Wellington route resumes on Monday - and the Auckland to Invercargill link's back from next month.
Air New Zealand General Manager Networks, Scott Carr, says the airline's been encouraged by recent demand from leisure travellers.
Meanwhile, budget airline Jetstar's also planning its comeback... with domestic flights on sale from July.
