House prices have reached another record high in most parts of the country

Latest figures from the Real Estate Institute show the median house price increased 5.9-percent in the year to September, to reach 525-thousand dollars.
Median prices increased in 14 of 16 regions ... West Coast and Taranaki prices were those that fell.
Four regions -- Northland, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui and Nelson -- hit record high medians.
Auckland's median price of 850-thousand dollars was unchanged on a year ago.
