Armed police have swarmed Christchurch Hospital this morning, and taken a person into custody

Police were called to reports of a person with a firearm at the Outpatient building, but determined no firearm was involved.
Canterbury DHB chief executive, Peter Bramley, says the incident's been resolved and patients should attend appointments as planned.
