Two arrests - after Police descended on the Waikato towns of Ngaruawahia and Taupiri for a gang tangi

Inspector Will Loughrin says one person was arrested for displaying gang insignia.

But he says they also arrested a second person subject to a warrant - unrelated to the tangi.

Officers saw the man of interest travelling in the area - and took him into custody.
