New Zealand Cricket has announced the launch of a new Hall of Fame with the first eleven inductions to be announced on the eve of the Test against England at the Basin Reserve on December 5

The players will be chosen by a panel of historians and statisticians, and will consider playing record, leadership and influence.

The only criteria is that they must have played for New Zealand and have been retired for at least five years and additional players will be added annually.
