Coach Steve Corica is delighted with how Auckland FC has rallied around new recruit Lachie Brook

The Black Knights donned black armbands in the 2-1 A-League win over Adelaide in support of Brook, who lost his grandfather on the eve of the match.

Corica's taken immense pride in Brook's performance...and the support he received.

Captain Hiroki Sakai limped off in the 13th minute with a suspected hamstring injury.

Auckland's top of the table perch can only be tampered with by a Wellington Phoenix win over the Central Coast Mariners tonight.
