Stacey Jones is impressed, but not surprised, by Keano Kini's performance in the Kiwis' 40-14 Pacific Championships trouncing of Tonga

The Gold Coast Titans fullback was called in to start after the captain's run in place of Seb Kris, and opened the scoring with a breakaway try.

Jones says he knew the 21-year-old was capable.

The Kiwis head to Sydney to face Toa Samoa in the final this weekend - Kris and Nelson Asofa-Solomona have both been ruled out with injury.
