Ben Affleck is reportedly taking a break from filming his latest project to celebrate Thanksgiving with his children

The Oscar-winner, 52, is in the midst of shooting his upcoming crime thriller movie 'RIP' with his long-time friend and business partner Matt Damon, 54, and is set to spend the holiday as a singleton after splitting from his wife Jennifer Lopez, 55, in August following the singer's divorce filing

A source told People about the father-of-three's Thanksgiving plan: "He's very happy with life. He enjoys working. He'll spend Thanksgiving with his kids."

An insider on the set of 'RIP' added to the outlet Ben has been in a "great mood" and "super fun to work with".

They said: "(Ben and Matt) are a great team. You can tell they enjoy working together.

"Ben looks great too. He seems to be in a good place."

Ben has three children with his 52-year-old actress ex-wife Jennifer Garner - Violet, who is set to turn 19 on 1 December, as well as Seraphina, 15, and 12-year-old boy Samuel.

His ex Jennifer is a mother to 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with his 56-year-old former husband Marc Anthony.

A source told People in August the actress is still "especially close" to Ben's children.

But they added he has "not been in touch with her kids".

The pair have not yet finalized their divorce and rumours are rife about how they will split their showbiz fortunes in a split deal.

A source has told People one of the reasons Ben rekindled his decades-old romance with Jennifer before they married in 2022 as she had helped him "become a family man again".

They added: "Family is very important to both of them, and together they were family people - and the connection doesn't end."
