Salaries are only just outpacing the rate of inflation

Salaries are only just outpacing the rate of inflation

SEEK NZ's latest Advertised Salary Index shows the average advertised salaries grew 3.7 percent in the year to August, slowing from 4.4 percent in the previous quarter.

Country Manager, Rob Clark says the rate of growth has slowed significantly.

He says it reflects a market that has more candidates than there are jobs.
