    A new poll appears to show some support for the Treaty Principles Bill


    The Curia poll for the Act Party asked one thousand people whether they support three proposed principles which would be define in the bill.

    Principle three - that everyone is equal before the law - has majority support.

    More people support than oppose the other two principles, but around 30 percent say they are unsure.

    Asked whether they support parliament passing the bill, triggering a referendum, 39 percent are in support, 36 percent oppose and 25 percent are unsure.
