    Auckland Transport says an electric bus that collided with an overpass and caught fire was out of service at the time and had no passengers on board

    Auckland Transport says an electric bus that collided with an overpass and caught fire was out of service at the time and had no passengers on board


    Emergency services were called to the Constellation Bus Station just after 1pm.

    Auckland Transport says the driver got out of the bus safely, and the bus is being removed.

    The busway overbridge will remain closed until it has been assessed by a structural engineer.
