A man accused of murdering a woman in her Blenheim home can now be identified as her son

A man accused of murdering a woman in her Blenheim home can now be identified as her son

Police launched a homicide investigation after Jennifer Sheehan was found dead at the Muller Road address last month.

Her son, Paul Armon, was arrested shortly after.

The 55-year-old entered no plea when he appeared via audio-visual link in the High Court this morning.

His lawyer says psychiatric reports will be needed to assess his fitness to plea or stand trial, which is scheduled for August 2026.
