A large-scale search is underway for a 66-year-old Christchurch woman, missing since yesterday

Tracy was reported missing yesterday afternoon after missing a pre-planned lunch date.

Her Tesla was found along Taylors Mistake Road in Scarborough about 2pm - but there was no sign of her.

Constable Kieran Palmer says there are grave concerns for her safety.

Police, Search and Rescue, Fire and Emergency and Coastguard are involved in the search.

Tracy is of a small build, with grey curly hair.
