A teachers union says it's not a surprise the majority of educators have considered leaving their job

Over 3000 teachers responded to the Massey University survey, with 85 percent confessing they've thought about resigning.
It finds the main factors pushing teachers out of the profession are workload, burnout, a lack of teacher support and work/life balance.
Post Primary Teachers Association President Chris Abercrombie, says more is becoming expected from teachers.
He says there's more mental health issues and pastoral issues in school, for them to deal with.
