Mary McCartney will be the BRIT Awards' official Instagram photographer and videographer for the second time

The 47-year-old daughter of Sir Paul McCartney and late wife Linda McCartney will host an exclusive video portrait studio at this year's ceremony, where she will direct and capture short-form backstage films of the winners, VIP guests and artists for the social media platform.

Known for her distinctive, unguarded style, Mary also worked as a photographer at last year's event, capturing exciting images of celebrities including Rihanna and Gary Oldman, which were shared on Instagram.

Speaking of the partnership, Mary said: "To be back at the BRIT Awards 2017 is amazing! It is a real honour to be given the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in music and entertainment."

The BRIT Awards 2017 with Mastercard, hosted by Dermot O'Leary and Emma Willis, will take place on Wednesday 22nd February at The O2 and broadcast at 7.30 p.m. on ITV.

Performers on the night include Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Robbie Williams, Emeli Sandé, Little Mix, UK grime sensation Skepta and The 1975, with Mary on hand to take exclusive portrait images of the artists, guests and winners on the night. The photographs will be posted on the official BRIT Awards Instagram account @BRITS.
