Yolanda Hadid has dubbed Kendall Jenner as a “beautiful human being”

The 22-year-old model is close friends with Yolanda’s two daughters Gigi and Bella Hadid, and the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star couldn’t be happier with her brood’s choice of pal, as she believes Kendall is “amazing”

She said: “I love Kendall. I think she’s amazing, I think she’s a beautiful human being and I don’t see her how you guys see her, I see her as my daughters’ girlfriend and she’s a sweetheart.”

Yolanda - who also has 18-year-old son Anwar - is pleased her daughters have a friend in the showbiz world who can help them cope with the whirlwind of fame, but she isn’t concerned about them as she understands it is “their journey”.

Speaking to People magazine, the 54-year-old reality star said: “Everyone has to do their own thing. This is not my journey. This is their journey, and they’re old enough to know what that journey is and if they’re gonna make mistakes, that’s part of it.”

For 22-year-old Gigi, her friendship with the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star comes as one of very few relationships she has, as she previously insisted she’s too busy to let anyone new into her life.

The model - who is dating Zayn Malik - said: "A lot of interesting things in friends come out [when you're famous]. So, in a way it's good because you learn that it's better to have a few really good friends than tons of friends you aren't really sure about.

"There are people who understand that I love them and who know that when I get back to town I'm going to call them, but sometimes I can't call every day because I'm in weird places. I've lost a lot of friends because I'll get busy for a short period of time, and they're not reaching out, but if I don't reach out, then it's like I've changed.

"The time I do have off, it's not even enough to give everyone I love attention. I'm good with [the friends] I've got."
