Roosters interchange forward Victor Radley has failed in his bid to avoid an NRL suspension

Roosters interchange forward Victor Radley has failed in his bid to avoid an NRL suspension

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Radley pleaded guilty to the grade-two careless high tackle charge but was seeking a downgrade at the judiciary.

He was unsuccessful, meaning the abrasive youngster is banned for one week and will miss Saturday's NRL match against the Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium.

Roosters winger Joseph Manu has copped a grade-one dangerous contact charge and is free to face the Warriors.
