Youngsters in Court today following Wainuiomata aggravated robbery

Two young people are appearing in Hutt Valley Youth Court today - following an aggravated robbery in Wellington

Police were called to a dairy in Wainuiomata last night after two people - one with a hockey stick - entered the store and assaulted an attendant.

The female attendant required hospital treatment for facial injuries.

The pair fled on foot with a cash register before being tracked by Police.

Police aren't seeking anyone else in relation to the robbery but are appealing for witnesses who saw the incident or has seen a cash register in the Ruthven Road area.
