Hurricanes coach believes All Blacks selectors will be loyal to players already capped at test level

Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd believes the All Blacks selectors will be loyal to players already capped at test level - at the expense of several of his side's players

Boyd believes there are many players within his team that are good enough to play at the next level, such as Ben Lam, but won't be picked.

The women's Black Sticks will familiarise themselves with some of their World Cup opponents in this weekend's Tri Nations hockey tournament in Cromwell.

Both Japan and Australia will be in the Kiwi's pool for the upcoming World Cup in England in July.

Coach Sean Dancer says everyone will be trying to hide some of their weapons ahead of the Cup, but it's good preparation nonetheless.

Next year's Dakar Rally will be held entirely in Peru after other South American nations chose not to be a part of the 2019 edition for economic reasons.
