The Hawke's Bay farm had to send 700 cows to the slaughterhouse last November after the cattle disease was found.
Hawke's Bay Rural Support Trust Coordinator Lon Anderson says it's been a slow process for the farm, but they've finally been given the green light to get more cattle.
He says they're still waiting to be fully compensated.
Lon Anderson says in between times there was a lot of hurt and stress and not having cash flow didn't help.
