Cowboys halfback Johnathan Thurston has blasted the NRL after again copping late shots in his side's 26-12 win over Manly in Sydney

Thurston was hit with a late shoulder charge by Manly's Jack Gosiewski , leaving the former Queensland playmaker floored.

It's the latest in a long line of late hits on Thurston and he's fed up.

He says it's not part of how they go about their business.

Thurston set up three of his side's four tries.
