    Three people have been arrested after a man was shot with a BB gun outside a Palmerston North petrol station


    Police say things started with an argument between two men outside Gull on Tremaine Ave around 9.30 last night.

    One of the men left, but returned in a vehicle and shot the other in the arm with a BB gun.

    The wounded man was taken to hospital for treatment.

    Police located the vehicle shortly afterwards and arrested three men aged 19, 24 and 28.

    They're all due to appear in the Palmerston North District Court today.
