The Opposition says the government must listen to secondary school principals

Over 40 of them have put full page ads in Sunday newspapers, giving Education Minister Chris Hipkins a fail for his review of NCEA.
They say there's been a lack of consultation with principals, the 16 week timeframe is too short, and it seems the outcomes are predetermined.
National Party leader Simon Bridges says their views and expertise matter because they're at the coalface so know our education system and what's good for our children.
He says Hipkins and his colleagues need to recognise that.
