An agribusiness expert says Mycoplasma bovis may have been here for over a decade

The Ministry for Primary Industries says current evidence shows the slow-moving disease arrived in New Zealand late 2015, and was discovered last year.
But Lincoln University Professor Keith Woodward says there's a 2008 example of a herd of cows having lameness issues and getting sick with Mastitis.
He says it sounds eerily like the effects of bovis.
