A landmark decision means major change to the way New Zealand's social welfare system operates

The High Court has today ruled loans can't be counted as a source of income.
It's after a single mother took her case to the courts.
In 2010, she was ordered to repay 120-thousand-dollars - all because she'd borrowed money to support herself and her children.
Child Poverty Action Group economic spokesperson, Susan St John says this decision could spell major change for a system that's remained unchanged for decades.
And she expects the current review of the welfare system will see more significant changes - that'll make a difference to people who've been struggling to survive.
