Former champion Maria Sharapova has crashed out to end an eventful day two at Wimbledon

The 2004 champion has blown a 7-6, 5-2 lead to lose 6-4 in the third set to Russian qualifier Vitalia Diatchenko.
Sharapova has followed two times champ Petra Kvitova and 6th seed Caroline Garcia in making early exits.
Three times men's champion Novak Djokovic has crushed American Tennys Sandgren in straight sets and is pleased with his start.
He says you always want to start off well and overall it was a solid performance.
Second seed Rafael Nadal has also had an impressive straight sets win but 7th seed Dominic Thiem has retired trailing two sets to love against Marcos Baghdatis.
