    The women's Black Sticks have lost their opening warm-up game for the Hockey World Cup


    New Zealand's fallen to the powerhouse Dutch side 3-1 in Munich, having led 1-nil.

    They next meet Germany tomorrow.

    Better news for the men's Black Sticks, drawing level in their series against Japan with a 3-2 third test win in Gifu.

    The test series is level at one all with the fourth and final test tomorrow night.
