    District Health Boards are braced to deal with the impact of the nurses strike


    An estimated eight thousand elective procedures have been postponed for this 24 hour strike.

    DHB National Contingency planning coordinator Anne Aitcheson says the wheels are in motion to get through the day.

    She says from tomorrow, hospitals around the country will be in recovery mode.
