Tiger Woods has dismissed fitness concerns at the British golf Open at Carnoustie
20 July 2018
The 14-time major champion has appeared on course with supportive tape running down the back of his neck.
Woods says it's making him feel more comfortable after missing the last two British Opens with injury problems and subsequent back operations.
He says he's been using braces and bandages for years and it's just that this time it's actually visible.
Tiger Woods has opened with a even par 71 and is tied for 32nd heading into tonight's second round.
Fellow American Kevin Kisner sits atop the leaderboard at five-under par.
