    Eliza McCartney has crashed out of the diamond league event in Monaco


    The pole vaulter struggled to find a rhythm and failed to clear four metres eighty on three attempts, which saw her eliminated from the competition.

    The result is particularly disappointing for McCartney after she broke her personal and the national record by clearing four metres 94 in Germany just last week.
