Don Mackinnon expects Netball New Zealand to act on the findings of his report into the Silver Ferns' failed Commonwealth Games campaign

Mackinnon, along with Kevin Shoebridge and Linda Vagana, have found a number of factors led to the Ferns' inability to win a medal on the Gold Coast, some of which the panel believes Netball NZ should have identified.

Its report identifies the national body continues to struggle to embrace a true high performance culture, but Mackinnon believes Netball NZ is ready to change.

He says Netball New Zealand wants to get the Silver Ferns back to being number one in the world and realises it has to get the pathway right.
