He's slipped to third overall after the 17th stage in the Pyrenees and is now two minutes 31 seconds behind his Team Sky team-mate Geraint Thomas.
Froome says they've got to look after Thomas now.

Dutchman Tom Dumoulin is now Thomas' nearest rival at one minute 59 seconds, with one mountain stage and a time trial to come.
Colombian Nairo Quintana won the stage to move up to fifth overall.
