Mahe Drysdale will be placing all his energy on securing a seat in the men's quadruple sculls for September's rowing world championships in Bulgaria

The double Olympic single sculls champion expressed his desire to be part of either the eight or quad, after losing out to Robbie Manson in the battle for the single spot at the recent world cup in Lucerne.

Six athletes will be vying for the four seats by way of a week long trial, including incumbents Nathan Flannery, Jordan Parry, Cameron Crampton and Lewis Hollows, as well as 2017 member Giacomo Thomas.
