It's not known what caused the fire to break out just after six this morning on Hutt Park Road in Seaview.
The building contains a chair-making, and timber-framing businesses... meaning a lot of wood.
Area Commander, Gavin Dunphy, says his firefighters haven't been able to get inside yet, because it was such a big blaze.
It's also filled with asbestos.
Dunphy says it's not related to the fire nearby about a week ago.
He says that one was accidental - and they haven't started investigating this one.
