Swimming New Zealand expects its latest addition to be competitive on the world stage

American-raised swimmer Ali Galyer has committed to representing New Zealand and has been given dispensation for the upcoming Pan Pacific Championships in Japan.
Galyer is a backstroke specialist and finished eighth in the final of the 200 metre backstroke at last week's USA championships.
Swimming NZ targeted athlete and coach manager Gary Francis says Galyer is quality.
