    The driver of a stolen car fleeing police has got away after a prang involving a police car in Christchurch


    The stolen vehicle fled around 5:50 am, before pulling over and stopping in Blenheim Road.

    When police went to speak to the driver, he sped off again.

    As the police car pulled out to follow, it collided with another vehicle.

    No one was injured, but both cars required towing.

    Police are still trying to find the driver of the fleeing vehicle, and the crash and pursuit will be investigated internally.
